In Spring 2023, Crissy Battaglia and Marc Danyal co-founded Salon TORO: a high-end hair salon located in Birmingham, Michigan.
As best friends + Taurus-twins born under the sign of the bull, they combined their expertise to conceptualize a salon inspired by their shared passion for confidence + personal style. With Crissy's decade-long experience in the hair industry + knack for client connection, and Marc's passion for leading startups + supporting business operations, they have been able to create a true haven for clients to unwind + leave feeling transformed.
The name Salon TORO was chosen as a nod to their Taurus roots. The bull symbolizes strength, stability, and reliability– qualities they strive to embody in their business + inspire in their clients. The salon's inclusive + supportive culture, family of masterful stylists, select services, and premium products draw clients old + new.

We recommend booking your next appointment immediately following your visit so the salon can accommodate your schedule.

There is parking available in front of the building + an additional metered lot within walking distance (0.3 miles) via Park Mobile app.

At Salon TORO, we know that life can throw curveballs — kids get sick, meetings run late, alarms forget to go off (it happens to the best of us!). While we’re always here to support and accommodate unexpected changes, we also value and respect the time of our stylists and other guests who may be waiting for an opening.
✨ Our Cancellation & No-Show Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly ask for more than 24 hours' notice.Same-day cancellations or reschedules will incur a 50% charge of the scheduled service.
No-shows (or no calls) will be charged 100% of the scheduled service.
This helps us ensure our team isn’t left with unbooked time that could’ve gone to another guest.
⏰ Running Late?
We totally understand — but if you’re more than 15 minutes late, a $25 late fee will be applied.
We’ll do our best to complete the best service possible within the time left in your originally scheduled appointment. However, your stylist may use their discretion to respectfully request that the appointment be rescheduled if they feel there’s not enough time to perform the service properly without compromising quality or the next guest’s time. -
We are happy to work with you to feel your best, but are unable to issue refunds on salon services. If you have concerns regarding services received, please notify salon management within 5 days of your service. If an adjustment is required, a team member will inspect your hair and schedule an adjustment appointment within 2 weeks of the initial date of service.
Unopened products may be returned within 14 days of its initial purchase. Opened products that have been used no more than once can also be returned within 14 days of initial purchase.
